Gary was born in Rainham Essex and was brought up in
Little Thurrock, then Hornchurch, Essex, before moving to
Bradford in 1981 to study Colour (Dyestuff) Chemistry and Colour Technology in 1981 at the University there.
Liking the city, he decided to stay, and after graduating began work as an Industrial Chemist for Croda International,
eventually becoming Production Manager.
In 1998 he left the chemical industry to retrain as a schoolteacher, and after qualifying, worked in various schools
in West Yorkshire. In 2002 a serious illness in the family led to a major personal re-evaluation and renewed an
interest in the nature of the mind and consciousness. In 2005 Gary left teaching and began a brief career in retail
at ASDA. In 2008 a financial legacy gave him the chance to pay off debts and the mortgage, and make another fresh
start. Gary decided it was time to pursue his true passion and retrained again as a hypnotherapist, stress-counsellor
and most recently, a Reiki Master Teacher.
Gary has steadily built up an excellent reputation that you can see for yourself. Gary now practises at his own
purpose-built Consulting Room in Undercliffe, Bradford.
